A very warm welcome to the Consent for Approach to Research (C4AR) Database homepage. The home for kidney patients interested in research, led by patients, for patients.
The UK Kidney Association Patient Council feels strongly about making sure that everyone living with kidney disease has a voice and are given the opportunity to take part in research that is of importance to them. This database aims to achieve this by creating a community of patients of all ages, happy to be contacted for research purposes. It is an exciting initiative and the first of its kind for kidney patients on a UK-wide scale.
To make sure we can provide the best experience to the whole kidney community, recruitment will take place in 3 stages allowing the database to grow over time.
- Adults (16+) in England OPEN NOW
- Adults (16+) in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
- Children, parents, guardians and patient carers.
If you decide to take part your contact information will be kept safe and not shared with anyone else. If you think you would like to join, all we ask is that you read the patient information sheet first. It has much more detail and will ensure you are fully informed and ready to go!
